David Edlington – Funeral Director

The services that David provides are marked by consistency and thoroughness in every aspect. He works methodically at all times to ensure every detail requested by a family is followed through, and that the quality of service expected from our company is always met.

On our team since 2003, David has earned himself a reputation as a hard worker. First and foremost a ‘people person’, he enjoys working closely with families to put together arrangements for the service and helping them through their difficult time. He follows closely our philosophy that ‘nothing is too much trouble’ and considers it a privilege to be involved in creating meaningful funeral services that help families through the grieving process.

In 2008, David graduated with a National Certificate in Funeral Directing and also received the GS Shapland Award for the most improved student - a huge personal achievement.

David has a passion for his chosen career which he moved into after spending 17 years in the grocery industry becoming a department and duty manger for a major retail chain.

David married Nicola in 2009 and since then his spare time has been well occupied setting up their new home on the Shore. When able he also likes to fish and is a member of the Outboard Boating Club.
