Gill McMenemy – Administration Manager

In 1985, Gill came to Dil’s for three weeks to look after the office while the original owners (Wilf and Gloria Dil) went on holiday – she has been with us ever since!

Bringing tremendous value to the service we provide to our customers, she ensures the countless administrative aspects of our business run smoothly. Her longevity in the business means she has an excellent knowledge of our ways of working. In addition to her management role, Gill looks after our Monumental Division and works closely with customers who want a lasting memorial for their loved one.

In all aspects of her job, Gill comes into close contact with many of our clients and she often retains contact long after funerals have taken place. Associations which bring her great personal satisfaction.

Gill takes a ‘can-do’ approach to her role by combining a practical, ‘no nonsense’ approach with her business knowledge. She has a reputation as a problem solver and is someone who can always be relied upon in a crisis.

Born in England, Gill is married to Eddie and has two adult children and two grandchildren. Having now lived in New Zealand for more than 35 years, she considers herself a Kiwi and is a big fan of our national sports teams, especially the All Blacks and the Silver Ferns.

In her spare time she likes to be in her garden and is a committed nature and animal lover.
