Janeen Paull - Funeral Director

Organised and efficient, Janeen makes strong connections with the families she meets in her role as a Dil’s funeral director. She is honest and direct, and deals with any issues in a straightforward, no-nonsense manner.

Since joining the company in 2008, Janeen has taken on board the company philosophy that ‘nothing is too much trouble’ and she works hard to meet the unique needs of every family she serves.

She considers herself fortunate to be in a role where she can help people cope with their grief, and has enhanced her hands-on skills through formal study for the National Diploma in Funeral Directing, graduating in September 2010.

Janeen comes from a background of elderly and palliative care, and she has held personal assistant, customer service and management roles in the business world.

Away from work, she enjoys creative skills including black and white photography and writing, and she is a self-taught guitarist. She is also an avid reader and usually has several books on the go at once.

A fan of the outdoors, Janeen particularly enjoys sailing and camping in remote areas – 'the fewer facilities the better' – and she is a willing participant in triathlons and half marathons.
