Philip Beardsmore - Funeral Director

Philip has a background in Sales Management with a particular focus on Customer Service, so has a keen appreciation for the Dil’s company philosophies and high standards, while aspiring to his own personal work ethic;  always deliver more than expected.

Working at Dil’s fulfils a life-long ambition for a career in the Funeral industry and hence be in a position to help people in a meaningful way.  He finds it very rewarding to assist families at such a sensitive and emotional time in their lives. 

With Dils on-going investment in the latest technologies and equipment, our funeral services have become more complex and sophisticated.  Philip’s previous experience in audio/video presentations is invaluable for providing a unique and personalised service that fulfils the particular needs of each family. 

Philip has a natural empathy and strives to minimise the stress of arranging a funeral service.  The best feedback he could ask for is when families tell him that “Dil’s made it all so easy”, which is a very satisfying endorsement of our company culture and ideals. 

Born & raised on the North Shore, Philip is married with twin teenage daughters.  Outside of work he is a keen motorcyclist and he and his wife regularly tour around the country on two wheels.  In addition he is a movie enthusiast and likes nothing better than a “family night in” watching movies on his Home Theatre.
